We met Skip and Donna in Chanute, Kansas last fall. They ordered this new HitchHiker at that time, and were on their way back to Florida after picking it up yesterday. We enjoyed catching up and going out to eat one night.
Then it was time to get on with our business of helping Sheila. Here's how we saw the back porch after Cort got the bricks separated (with Sheila's help, since he and Cary are color blind). The guys need to mix up the thin set. Cort put down a layer of sealer, raised a corner to be level with the rest of it.

Sheila's yard had begun to resemble a jungle, so she and I started cutting up branches. Then we decided to throw bigger pieces over the fence; that area is a green belt.

Cort getting started.
