More of that wet stuff!

I was informed that the wet stuff coming out of the sky is called rain. Hmm, very curious. It continues today, but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying ourselves. Andrea did five loads of laundry (enjoying??) while we browsed some thrift stores in Old Town Eureka. This great fabric store is there too. I found some material to make a purse for one of my aerobic teachers in Tucson. Last year all I found here were some really pretty buttons.

We met the Finneys at the Lost Coast Brewery for lunch. They all had fish and chips, while I enjoyed a spinach and portobello quesadilla. Oh, and the guys forced themselves to try one of the beers brewed there.

One more fabric store before we returned to the trailer. Isn't this the cutest little dog? And his name is Bentley! He has a bandage on a back leg; he got tangled up with a feral mama cat under his owner's porch. She reported that he was a free pup, but the vet bill was $500! He looks totally worth it to me. And, yes, I found several pieces of fabric there too.
