Cary wanted to go to the cemetery where several of his Illig ancestors are buried. It is is called the Immanual Lutheran Church Cemetery in Sheboygan County, Mosel.
Illig was the maiden name of his mom's mother.
This stone marks an Illig who fought in the 27th Wisconsin Regiment in the Civil War. August Illig lived until 1927.
After the cemetery we went to St. Vincent thrift store where Cary found a Green Bay Packers shirt that fit him perfectly. Maybe I will get a picture eventually. From there to Menard's, a much more inclusive store than Home Depot or Lowe's. You can even buy groceries there!
As we were leaving Menard's we saw this bus conversion to an RV. Cary was able to ask the driver what year it was--1956. They were getting ready to leave too or we might have asked to see inside!
Another thrift store, then to Perkins for supper--Monday is free pie day! And because we don't eat out every day, we went to Walmart for some groceries for the rest of the week.
We had rain off and on all day and the temperature really dropped from when we left the house after lunch. It is supposed to be cool for the next several days--yay!
