Wednesday's weather report: not as much fog as yesterday, blue skies roll in later.
We always get so many interesting visitors in the lighthouse, and usually at least one question a day that we have to honestly answer, "I don't know." Today I was glad to tell two ladies, visitors from another country, that the things they were asking about were wood burning stoves. That surprised me. I did not know the answer to whether blue and yellow were the popular colors in Crescent City right now (the prominent colors in the bedspread in one of the bedrooms). If I had known that we would be able to come back and do this six different years, I would have been compiling notes about interesting happenings, questions, visitors, and so on. I guess it is not to late to start.
