What a Difference a Day Makes

Twenty four hours after I took the picture of the blue sky surrounding the lighthouse, this was the view this morning as we approached for our first day of work. It was not cold, however, which was good. I managed to time the shot to catch the light coming on in the tower. The signature of Battery Point Lighthouse is on a 30-second cycle--26.5 seconds off, 3.5 seconds on.

Work went well--a little over 2 and a half hours to avoid getting caught in the tide, good groups of people and only a few questions we couldn't answer!
Look closely and you can see a formation of pelicans flying over.
It was a little too chilly to eat outside this evening, but I am sure we will have another occasion to do so.

We did walk over and talk to the couple who were the RV couple for the month of June (they are staying an extra week at the park to avoid travel over the holiday weekend). They fulltime in their motorhome, usually working at a park somewhere along the way.
