Enchanted Trails RV Park is located along old Rte. 66. The office has lots of goodies for sale, but also lots of real oldies from the 1940s and 1950s that are just on display and not for sale. I didn't feel right taking pictures inside.
The vintage trailers and cars are on display, but this is also a fully functioning RV park with all the amenities.
Isn't this combination wonderful?
Many lilac bushes and lavender grow around the park too.
After spending the afternoon looking around the town and browsing an antique mall, we found Sadie's (we were on the way to El Pinto, a place we ate many years ago), one of the restaurants recommended by my hairdresser several years ago. Don't judge her by the way my hair looks now. It has done nothing but blow since we arrived in New Mexico and today we even had rain. Dinner was wonderful and you can probably tell we have leftovers for the next two or three days!
