Cary, this morning in Van Horn, trying to get an obstreperous slide out to go back into place so we continue our travels. After 30 minutes or so of trying, it finally cooperated, but we were leery about going any farther with the problem.
We were close enough to Tucson to turn around. Tonight, after a fairly decent 8-81/2 hour drive, we are home. Our plan now is to take my Subaru to Texas; we will leave on Tuesday. This will be a completely new experience. The longest we have been gone from home, not in our 5th wheel, was a trip back to New England in 1979 or 80 for a 4-day weekend.
