Van Horn

We needed to disconnect to go buy fuel and get a few things (bread and cookies!) at Walmart. The wind has not died down at all.


Me at the Texas Welcome Center, where we stopped for lunch. Cary was hoping they had the weather channel on, but the very nice docent googled Van Horn for us, so we could see what to expect. Wind...hmm?
Who knew we would need reservations for a spot in Van Horn? The first place we stopped, the one Cary had in mind because it is a Passport America club, was full! There are a few parks in town, so this was our second choice. Since we started out so late from Deming, supper was the first thing on the agenda. After we ate, we needed to stretch our legs, took a walk and saw this interesting
