The trailer is back after getting the new brakes. Cary says they stop like a Corvette--right now!
We spent some of Saturday, a good part of Sunday and a few hours this morning loading it up.
Weather cooperated, a little rain, but nice when we arrived at Edgington RV Park in Alamogordo. After setting up we went right over to see our friends in La Luz. Patti worked all day and still had a wonderful meal for us--vegetables from her garden (squash and snowpeas sautéed with garlic and pine nuts; beets, purple potatoes and carrots wrapped in foil and grilled), turkey burgers and a cheesecake with home grown peaches for dessert. I took a cherry Danish thing and we all had that also.
We have to wrap the drawers this way to keep them from opening during the drive and hitting the opposite wall!
Even the basement is full!
Before he hooked up the truck, we posed for a picture.
Wally, Patti and me...I see Sadie got her nose in the picture too!
We ate outside; it was perfect. Wish I had taken pictures of the garden and Patti's chickens. Wally made them a super coop out of doors she got at Habitat for Humanity.
Back to the trailer. It is late and we are tired. But in a good way!
