There's Been A Slight Delay

For those of you expecting to read about our first day on the road, I have to apologize. The appointment we had to get the disc brakes installed on the trailer...was a bust! First the guy put Cary off ("I can get to it next week"), then after looking at the paperwork, told Cary he couldn't do it at all. I am sure it would have saved a lot of grief if he had told Cary that from the beginning.

 Luckily he could send Cary to someone who could work on them, starting yesterday. It was a two-day job. Our fingers are crossed that he can pick it up tomorrow morning early (not really early to us...8 a.m.) and we can seriously start loading it. Our new ETD is Monday.

 I will leave you with pictures of some owls in my mom's back yard. I like pictures on a blog!
