China Lights

Our first stop of the day was at the Wollners  who live nearby in Belgium. Kathy had some zippers for me. A lady she cleans house for was cleaning out (and burning!) lots of stuff. Kathy rescued them for me.
Next stop was Aunt Shirley's. Paul came home for lunch and was immediately assigned going out to get lunch for us at nearby Country Grove. He had to go to the bank anyway. Nice visit. Sheila took cookies to them and also to Jim and Kathy.

We wanted to leave for Milwaukee in time to get supper there before the lights display. I took a picture from a distance, but like the one on the internet better. Hale House is less than a mile away from the botanical gardens and had good selections. Cary got pulled pork while Sheila and I got salads.
Since there was a beautiful sunset, I very easily could have taken this!

Amazing view--surprised to see a sunset like this out of Arizona!

So many on display--I am just posting a representation what we saw. I caught Cary with a big smile on his face!

The younger brother picked the smaller pears, saving the larger ones for his brother. To teach the virtues of courtesy and modesty.

I switched out the photo I had here previously. The one Sheila took with her camera turned out better!

Seahorses and other undersea creatures were prominent.

Pandas, of course!

It would not be Chinese without a dragon!

And, of course, many lanterns!

Lions here; there were also leopards.

Flowers of epic proportions!

 A fish and sea anemones

Flowers for happiness!

We asked for help with the GPS on Sheila's phone when we got ready to head home. Two very nice folks tried--really three, one was a couple. She finally got it working and we made it home in great time.
