Welcome to Bookworm Garden in Sheboygan

Children's books are interpreted, along with activities to provide fun and information for kids of all ages. I took lots of pictures, am just posting a part of them. I had read most of the ones represented, but having been away from children's books firsthand for 20+ years, there were some I had yet to read.

The Magic School Bus

Jack and the Beanstalk

Beautiful gardens throughout

Harry the Dirty Dog

The Three Little Pigs and my patient husband!

Sheila poses!

Twitch, a book I had never heard of. It seems to have been published recently. This is another interactive display where kids are encouraged to leave letters for Twitch.

Diary of a Wombat (I have never read this one).

Frankie, the Rock and Roll Dog

 Degas and the Little Dancer

Johnny Appleseed

Wilbur the pig (Charlotte is hanging around elsewhere)

A beautiful koi pond

Curious George and the Pizza

Peter Rabbit (who was nowhere to be found today)

 Winnie the Pooh

The Three Bears

It is still to hot to enjoy being outside, but this was so much fun. Occasionally we had a cool breeze and there was lots of shade.
We also had time to go to Walmart and drive by Cary's parents' home on 21st Street in Sheboygan. He knocked on the door and said hello to Tim, the owner we met four years ago.
Right now the Packers game is on TV; 4th quarter and GB needs to score again!
