Beautiful sunrise this morning--our view from our bedroom (I didn't mean to wake up this early, but it was worth it.)!

After breakfast we drove to Oostburg to see what was there. The thrift store was closed for a few more hours, so we drove home to drop Sheila off so she could bake for us while we went over to Fredonia. Nice drive, pretty countryside.

After mixing about 50 ingredients together (all right, a slight exaggeration), this batch of cookies-to-be went into the refrigerator before baking tomorrow). She then started some very sinfully chocolate cherry cookies with chocolate icing. I should take a picture while there are still some left! Despite their appearance and how they stuck to the cookie sheets, they were absolutely delicious.

And we had rain today! My migraine yesterday was a clue. Things cooled off briefly and we are expecting a cool down starting tomorrow. Yay!
