Cedar Rapids on Monday

We spent most of the day driving; I did the last hour and 15 minutes or so. We stayed at the Quality Inn because the Clarion where we have stayed in the past is now something else. But we were still close to the Perkins restaurant where we like to eat, and just by coincidence, it is Monday--free pie day! Cary had a turkey dinner and I had salmon with asparagus. His pie choice was French silk while I got a very delicious strawberry. The motel had a very good breakfast also. The room was perfect too.
