While waiting to go into the lighthouse by way of the back door, I snapped this picture. Such beautiful views all around.

We had great tours today. Dottie came out to help. Kittie's sisters are in town visiting so we put them to work also (thanks so much)! Every year someone asks a question I never heard before. Today I jokingly told a group to just ask me things for which I knew the answers. One precocious girl of about 6 or 7, stuck out her hands and said, "How do we know what you know the answers to?"
After lunch we went back out to Ace Hardware for a small heater for the bathroom to replace the one that quit suddenly this morning after eight years of faithful service!
The hardest part of my day began when we got home: laundry! Two loads, but there should have been three--the machine with the towels just took my money and quit. I will try again tomorrow.
