Bar Harbor was about an hour away from our RV park. It is quite the tourist town, but we had a great time going in the shops. Lunch was a lobster roll and a crab melt--we split them and had fries.
You can tell it was windy. I didn't need to have combed my hair!
.
We should have eaten here--a very cute little diner honoring route 66 and the 50s
This is us on the loop that goes around Acadia National Park. Cary got to use his "geezer pass!"
The whole drive was breathtaking. Since was Saturday, we had lots of company.
Cary found this fabric store on our way home, located in Trenton, actually the second fabric store of the day. I didn't buy anything in either place.
Isn't this an amazing building? I am going to let the car guy take over from here.
i would hire on to be this guy's house cleaner. he is the winner for the absolute best man cave and house.
he buys, sells, and trades. he also talks funny.the square car is a great looking buick.
a couple of fords. the interior of the bottom floor is packed to the rafters with neat old car stuff. i told him he could charge for admission, but he said "that would take away from the fun".
this is one small area inside. he can park 36 cars in this area. his house takes up the second floor.
