Before we could start out, Cary had to wash off the front windshield where leaves and pine needles had accumulated in yesterday's rain.

So I went around and took a few more scenic pictures.

We knew there would be toll roads; we just didn't anticipate how many booths and how much money we would have to spend: $3.50, $6.15 and $4.15! All within 100 miles. Luckily after we stopped at a travel plaza for lunch, we got a voucher at a kiosk that allowed us to get back on the road for "free."

Here is our park. Isn't that a great name for a park in New England in autumn?
