Sadly we say bye to our good friends and travel companions as they head up the coast toward Florence, OR, and then back to the hot country so Tony can go back to work! Ugh!
Sheila arrived about 6 p.m. last night without her luggage, but it came early this morning, so we could start our sightseeing.
Before we ended up here at the Whaleshead Restaurant north of Brookings, we stopped at a quilt store in town and bought some fabric. Sheila purchased her very first--she may have the bug now! I will get pictures later.
Outside the restaurant was this wonderful view and a memorial dedicated to lives lost in Vietnam.
The rock that gave Whaleshead its name.
Sheila's turn to pose.
I wish I had had her stand closer to the magenta flowers, since she was a perfect match for the gorgeous flowers there.
