After driving awhile in Texas and Oklahoma, we got to Kansas. I am not sure if this mound is corn or wheat (I think corn, since there were corn fields all around us), but it seemed to represent the state, regardless.

We made it to Pratt, Kansas this afternoon
Two years ago we drove past this lot full of iteresting old cars and trucks, but also lots of "Keep Out" signs. Cary and our friend Tony walked over anyway, didn't go inside the fence, but got yelled at and chased off. Today we just stayed in the truck and got one picture. Cary noticed several of the vehicles were no longer there. I think the location is near Nara Vista, NM.

About 8 hours of driving, we reached Pratt, Kansas, and this cute RV park. Something is going on in town so we were lucky to get a spot. I was ready to find a Walmart parking lot, so you know how tired I must have been!
