Newport

Last night while we waited for the full moon (which we never saw, due to the thick cloud cover), I shot this beautiful sunset.

 We tried to get the bridge in the background this morning--but it barely shows up! We came down to Old Town Newport after a nice breakfast out at Georgie's.

I found a book for Cary (his birthday is just a month away) and one for myself. It has been at least two days since I bought a book (I think).

We came back to the trailer, ready to settle down, maybe do some laundry and, in my case, have some lunch, when we heard a loud THWUMP!

 Cary ran out to see that our truck had been hit!

 A guy driving a truck with a 5th wheel was trying to park in the space across the way from us and didn't exactly figure how much space he needed! The back of his 5th wheel hit our truck.

You can see where he hit us if you look at the right rear corner. Not fun. But he gave us all his info and we called our insurance company with it. I hope he is a lot more careful on the rest of his trip. And we know one more thing on our list of things to do when we return to Tucson. Ugh.
