Stranded!

(picture taken from the casino website)
Yet another event to add to our list of interesting experiences on this trip. We pulled into this casino RV park, Rolling Hills, near Corning, California, to discover the transmission seal on the truck ("fixed" on June 14, 2014) had come off and transmission fluid was-well, it wasn't!

We got a number of a Chevy dealer, who gave us info for the nearest Dodge dealer (Red Bluff), not open for service till Monday, but who did set up an appointment. Then we gave Good Sam a call, punched in the info on the phone then gave it to two people who apparently couldn't read the form in front of them and didn't appreciate how hot it was in the trailer, but did finally give us appointment for a tow at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Pictures will follow eventually!

I guess there are worse places to be stranded. There is a buffet at the casino. We don't gamble, and I have to do my wifi here at the club house/office. Haven't checked TV yet. And we do have our fingers crossed that the repairs can be done in one day!
