After breakfast we bought a newspaper so Cary could mark the map for yard sales.
We did find a few goodies, but not here. You would not believe the collection of penguins--in every imaginable form.
I took this picture while waiting for garage doors to go up at 10:00 a.m. It was advertised as an estate sale, but was actually a dealer's collections of items he had bought at estates. Interesting; Cary bought a pair of snap ring pliers made in New Britain, Connecticut.
Next, a stop at the Farmers' Market and Cary's apple fritter from this Brookings, Oregon, bakery.
Some of the folks around the circle in our section of the RV park organized a potluck before some of the summer people left for home. Lots of good food and company. I learned a few names of people I have been saying hi to for a few weeks!
Oops, the camera lens didn't come open all the way...this is a picture of one of the guys, Gary, and all the ladies at the potluck. He is "notorious" for inviting all the women in the circle into his bedroom--he quilts! His girlfriend wanted the picture. She quilts also. They went to the annual quilt show--and I discovered there were vendors there from quilt shops around the area--with fabric! Guess where I am headed tomorrow?
Cary went into Gary's 5th wheel, an Alumascape, to see the modifications he had made. You can see his "Arizona Quilt" on their bed. Very pretty.
Rootbeer, AKA RB, holds down the fort in Janelle and Gary's trailer.
The day started cool and foggy but got beautiful early. Very nice.
