Susan had been reading about this Circles in the Sand project and was happy to find out it coincided with our visit this year. It has to be done when the tide is out, so we drove over early and were able to watch the artists work on the labyrinth.
We were invited to sign our names in a big circle before starting the walk.
Cary stayed on a bench in the parking lot and waved encouragingly every so often; I signed his name anyway.
Susan took this of me walking. It was just one half mile.
After a pretty exhausting walk up the bank (there are stairs, pretty rugged) to the parking lot we went into old town Bandon to the bookstore where I bought a book on lighthouses. Lunch at the Crab Shack and fatigue took over.
Susan invited us over for a light supper and blackberry cobbler. I always like to see what is new in her yard and her house.
I got to use the Snap-Ap again to get this picture.
And this little guy posed long enough for me to get his picture before we left for the night.
