I took these pictures yesterday. Internet is so spotty that some days I don't even try.
Two years ago this cute trailer was in the RV park. It was nice seeing it again. They remembered us being from Arizona. The couple lives in Grants Pass. They have another vintage trailer they are also restoring, although slowly. He says that instead of working on it, they are out enjoying this one. Can't say that I blame them. Today and yesterday they loaded their matching yellow (vintage) bicycles onto the truck and went out for the day.
I tried to capture the orange sun while we were walking last evening. The smoke from the huge fire definitely has an affect on us here; ash drifts down onto the vehicles.
This morning before work I snapped this seagull. They are used to being fed.
It's a challenge to get pictures of something new! I tried, but even when I know what I am supposed to be seeing, it is hard to view the gull on the front rock.
And another shot of the view from the kitchen window.
Tours lasted from 10-11:30. One family spoke what, to me, seemed like French. I am not sure what travel restrictions currently exist. However, Covid is something we are taking quite seriously. The local hospital is full! Two people in our part of the park are laid up with Covid, and they both had vaccines, we think. Her health is not great to start with, so her case is more severe than her husband's. We continue to wear masks indoors and stay as far away as possible from the folks taking the tours. Paulette hands out paper masks to anyone without one (although signs clearly stay that m
asks are require and you are expected to supply your own).
After lunch I finished the skirt for the bathroom sink. Tomorrow I am taking some double-sided tape out with us to attach it. Three or four of my microwave bowls have sold (money going to the lighthouse), so I am taking three more out and plan to make a few more
