Beautiful Day

The day started quite gray and chilly--as it has the last few days. This is how the water looked as we walked up to the lighthouse.

About an hour into the tours, this was the view from the kitchen window--blue sky and ocean!
 

After lunch we decided it was too nice a day to stay inside, or even just outside reading in the park. So we drove to St. George Reef Point.

Cary brought his binoculars to look at the lighthouse out there.

Can you find the lighthouse in the picture below?

Gorgeous views all around

If you look just to left of Cary's finger, you can see a little speck that is the St. George Reef Lighthouse. In reality it is 140 feet tall from the base, similar in height to a 15-story building.

So nice just to sit and enjoy.
