We drove by the lighthouse around 11:00 a.m. after spending an hour at the library. The water was pretty high.
Tours, as usual, were great. Four people were there from the U.K. One couple was from Gilbert, Arizona, and I had to wonder if they knew any of my relatives!
There is a woman who periodically camps in the park after working on a road crew. We have talked to her several times, but today she stopped and waited for us to go by on our evening walk. She was being sent somewhere for a week and didn't think she would see us again before we left at the end of the month. Her last project was building fish ladders (see this: https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/fish-ladder.htm for more info). I think that is what she is going to be doing next.
