Since we had the day off to let the new lighthouse keepers move in and Mary and Craig head off for Idaho, we decided to go up to Brookings. I expected sunshine (it is called "the banana belt"), but it was just as overcast and cool there as it is here the last few days.
So rather than eat outside at Pancho's, we enjoyed our enchiladas inside. We also found goodies at a couple of thrift stores and the Grocery Outlet. Fuel before we left the state: $5.99 a gallon for diesel.
