My son Tim came up with an answer to my aversion to getting wet feet! Why didn't I think of it sooner?
Wednesday started out raining very hard; I called over to the lighthouse to see if we were really going to have tours. It was better out there though, so we went out. Great visitors again, very fun, and we made it back to the mainland in time. Supper out at the chart room again, several laps around the park. Oh, and I found two pairs of shoes at the Payless Shoe Store (buy one pair and get the second half price, which I wasn't even focusing on) so I am prepared--having left my waders at home!
The best part of the day? Seeing blue sky!
