Day Two, Kingman

The drive from Williams to Kingman is really beautiful, no great place to stop for pictures though.
We got to Ft. Beale RV Park pretty early so we could start on our to-do list. While following a detour to find the RV parts store, we ended up in a Walmart parking lot, so we got the few things there that I forgot to bring.

After a game of Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush, we found Trotter's RV Parts and Service, a cute shop with lots of great old collectible trailers and cars on displays. The first visit was to buy a part. The second visit was to go back for a refund because we were overcharged. The third visit was to return the part...but I am unclear on the reason, something about the old part checked out on the meter at the hardware store. The whole reason for the first visit has to do with the hot water heater burning out because something was replaced a few weeks ago and Cary forgot to let the water fill up before the heater was turned back on. He and a very helpful neighbor have been working on it for quite awhile now, and if I learn anything I will share it with you.

He actually had the tool Cary needed. How is it with two garages and sheds full of tools and several loaded into the truck tool box, that the one you need is never along when you need it? We are so glad that RVers are so helpful!
Tonight we are going to dinner with the couple we worked with at the lighthouse last August. Maybe there is a nap for Cary in the meantime.
