Day Three, California City
Only the mountains keep the long drive between Kingman and Mojave from being totally boring. I finished a crossword puzzle, a magazine and a couple of very easy Sudoku puzzles. We had lunch in Ludlow across from a Dairy Queen, and split a vanilla cone. I can't get wifi at our trailer, so I am here in the park office checking email, etc. I think my plan now is to read for awhile and take a nap. Tomorrow we will spend another five or six hours driving to Patterson, California. I hope to have some pictures to post too.

We told Dottie we did not need the day off and that she and Dan did not need to come out to the house to work. We are glad they came anyway....
