Before we left Sierra Trails RV Park near Mojave, Cary put a little more air in the trailer tires. I suspect he also just wanted to use his new compressor!
Here we are the morning of the 13th before leavving Kit Fox RV in Patterson. Down the street is the KFC where Cary bought supper last night, then returned for a hot caramel sundae.
At the Pomo Pumps in Lucerne, CA, diesel was $3.75. I love the sense of humor the owners of this amarillo pickup truck possess!
At the Willits KOA, we had our own personal gardener trimming the tree so the branches didn't interfer with the trailer. I think this guy is the owner. I loved his (I think) Australian accent. I had to translate for Cary!
We had to bundle up to eat supper outside, and only lasted through about two chapters of our book before having to come inside for the evening. Wonderful!. It should be great sleeping weather.
The weather almost makes up for the fact that it is still pretty hard to do dishes in a trickle of water. I finally figured out how to rinse using the shower. We are going to check out the RV supply place in Eureka tomorrow. I would still rather be struggling with this than staying home!
Note to Andrea: Twice the lady checking us in tried to put us down as having a dog! She had all the info from two years ago when we were here! I think we are the only ones here who do not have either a dog or kids!
