In the Cornhusker State

We started out later on purpose--Perry Mason was on! No, that is not the reason, but why waste a good show? We knew the trip would probably only take 4-5 hours and didn't see a need to get up early and rush.

Lots of farmland, mostly cornfields, and lots of windmills to generate power for the water.

We had to stop here while one of the propellers for a windmill made its way across and down the road ahead of us.

Can you imagine having to stop for fuel with one of these behind you (attached)?
We are now at the Pine Grove RV Park near Greenwood, Nebraska. Warm, humid, but not outrageously so.
Pam, wish you were here to take a look at our microwave! After I turned off the fan (we need to run it for ventilation when all the doors are closed while I am using the stove), it kept running. Cary unplugged it and the fan stopped (duh), then we plugged it in again and although the fan did not start back up, the whole unit vibrated, along with the cupboards next to it. So it stays unplugged unless we need to use it. Just another day on the road!
