Bartlesville, Oklahoma

The businesses around town have decorated buffaloes in front. In Vermont we saw moose done the same way.
Bartlesville was built by and lives by the oil business. Phillips has taken very good care of the place too, showing support for the schools among other things. This great two-story museum was free to tour. Way too much to digest.

I love this safe!

Cary is reading about one of the displays.

After touring the museum we saw a Lincoln Zephyr show was in town, so we drove to the park to see the display. Beautiful automobiles, real works of art.

Cary took all the car pictures. He is out talking to our neighbor at the RV park, so you willl have to make do with just photos.

The last thing we did before leaving Oklahoma was go to the Tom Mix museum in nearby Dewey. He was quite the character!
