Mulberry Grove, Illinois

We spent most of the afternoon and last night in Mulberry Grove, Illinois, at an RV park where we had stayed several years earlier: Timber Trails. We talked to some people who have a HitchHiker 5th wheel like the one we had before this one. They invited us in to see all the modifications they had made, and we reciprocated. I loved the trailer we had before this one, so Cary was afraid I might try to stay with them! But the one we have now has so many nice features, including the heat pump, which really reduces our use of propane. Here is a shot of the moon, almost full, that I took as we walked around the park after supper.

These strange seed pods were scattered under several of the trees. I collected one last fall somewhere in NY I think, found out what it was and have now forgotten!

Our RV site is across the road, just barely, from a soy bean field. I got a picture of an old farmer checking out the crops!
