The Sun Was Up This Morning!

It was great waking up to blue skies and no fog! Before work we found a few yard sales and got some treats at the Farmers' Market.

Cary ate his apple fritter at the picnic table before heading down to the lighthouse. I wonder how many squirrels came out hoping for a sample.
This is always a beautiful sight, but especially in sunshine!

The boats here looked bigger in real life.

Blue heron out enjoying the sunshine
A lizard we saw yesterday, not like anything we have at home.

There were just three of us at work today (the family had the day off), so it was a little more challenging to work out the flow...Mike is a local volunteer who has done tours frequently, but never with us. I hope he doesn't think I am a total flake (I am afraid he does...); Michelle, another volunteer came out by coincidence, and helped the last 15 or 20 minutes we were open. I think the visitors were pretty happy, but ideally the tours go much better with four of us--we are spoiled! Tomorrow is our day off so we can relax again.
