The wind kept us away from the fireworks last night, but according to the couple at the lighthouse, it did die down enough for everyone to enjoy the show. In past years the show has been more colored smoke than fireworks, according to a visitor who has seen the shows. It is very windy today, however, not really fun to be out. But on the other hand, it is not 110 degrees, either!
We started out with a few yard sales (and three of the four of us actually found some goodies) and didn't do much else till we went to work about 2:30.
