Senior Day at the fair. Overcast at first, but the skies turned blue again later. We like looking at the old cars. This is a Rolls Royce, very classy!
Look at the old fan attached to the steering wheel on this vehicle! (The blue car, a 1936 Chevy, pictured above)
The arts and crafts room featured sewing, photography, even Lego buildings, veggies and wonderful looking desserts.
I am not a quilter, but I sure admire the workmanship and the patience of those who do!
Wonderful looking vegetables and some of the handmade clothing
I took this picture mainly to show our great granddaughters, but since it is here, I will add it.
Doll clothes are harder to make than clothes for adults.
There was also a model train room but somehow I forgot to get a picture. We didn't go look at the animals this year and we also passed up the food. It was really fun and one of the highlights was a little boy probably 18 months old at the most dancing away to the music of the Tsunami Swing band/orchestra who were performing on the bandstand.
I didn't feel right taking his picture either. So cute.
Before the fair we found a few yard sales. I found some great fabric--a drape, actually, picture to follow when I have done something with it.
