This and That

 Last night while walking our usual route around the park we came upon this sign. The RV owner was outside so we had to have a conversation. I should have gotten a better picture! The boat pictured is one he piloted on the Ohio or Mississippi River (he did both, so I am not sure where this one was). It pushed barges down the river. He and his wife are now full timing RVers for just over a year.

This is their home now. (They have a decal in the front window that says, "Poor Farm.")

I have gotten to know this lady who has the trailer behind ours. She is the one who came over to investigate my buttons a few weeks ago. Today she and another friend of hers came over to see the trailer. I happened to be cutting out my nautical fabric to make another microwave bowl. She said the fabric was what she was looking for to embellish her sweatshirt. No problem; I had lots. She brought over the (almost) finished jacket to show me. Cool!

I finished the microwave bowl too. My plan had been to give it to the folks working at the lighthouse, but I never got around to it!
