Beautiful Saturday

 

We were able to locate a few yard sales. Cary got a wire brush,

On the Road (by Kerouac), a sunscreen for the truck and a couple other useful items. I found fabric!

 The truck sort of sputtered at the last yard sale, so we came straight back to the trailer. He will take it somewhere Monday to see if someone can help.

Since we had to be here, we took advantage of some things on our to-do lists: washing windows, doing two loads of laundry and cleaning the bathroom.

Beautiful day to sit outside. We both read, but I also took the time to remove a pocket from a robe I made several years ago. One of the pieces of fabric I bought today will be a much better choice.

Later this afternoon Richard stopped by on his bicycle. He and Gudrun used to stay in this park, but they moved to one closer to the ocean with better wifi and TV. We visited with them a week or so ago. They live in Lake Havasu.
