View from the parlor window, my part of the tour today

We opened early again today for tours, still not that many came in. A man from Canada, a couple from Mexico City (just wanted magnets), one very interested former Navy Seabee who couldn't get enough information, all folks very interested.

On our way home we stopped at Safeway, in the mood for soup for lunch, found a container of clam chowder for today and lobster bisque for tomorrow. We also saw Harlan and Jane. She is slowly recuperating after emergency surgery last spring. Harlan is the one is charge of schedules for the lighthouse, but his job has been Jane since then. They also usually spend at least a month in the lighthouse in the winter, but that may not happen this year.

More struggles with the TV. It was on this morning so we could watch Sunday Morning, but several hours of fooling around with it this afternoon before we were able to get some local news around 6:00 p.m.
