We had a productive day, but got to work around 1:45, only to meet Craig in the parking lot and find out Mary tested positive for Covid! We talked about it for some time, and of course, the tours would have to be cancelled. Mary is so conscientious, wears masks everywhere, has had all her shots, really takes care of herself. Cary and I stopped by the museum to talk to Karen, who then contacted Harlan who is in charge of things now. Harlan called me about an hour later. He had decided it was just good science to close the lighthouse for ten days. We will stay in touch with Craig and Mary to see how they are doing. So far, he tests negative and they are staying apart. We have our fingers crossed for them--and for ourselves. It is scary. I have some tests with us that my daughter-in-law gave us, so we will test in a few days. No symptoms yet.
Washed two loads of clothes, replenished some groceries (also a broken coffee carafe--found one at Sylvia's antiques and bookstore), mailed an Etsy order, and did lots of walking. Cary has been able to take at least one bike ride every day.
