Cooler and Breezy

Part of my "job" today was talking about the first lighthouse keepers, some things about the structure and changes made since it was first occupied in 1856--a kitchen and bathroom were added about 50-60 years later. The pictures on the mantel are of the Jeffrey family. John and Nellie stayed 39 years.

We decided we needed some TV. Several folks in the park have a setup like this, called Dish On the Go. I ordered one and it arrived today. 

Thank goodness for a neighbor, Rudy, who spent several hours helping two fairly ignorant people when it comes to this sort of technology go through the steps and making the phone call and waiting for it to actually kick in. We only pay for the service when we use it (by the month), will store it when we leave here.

I am hoping it is fairly intuitive once we actually turn it off and want to use it again tomorrow!
