Another night of not sleeping well--I even got up at 3:00 to read for awhile. At 5:30 I was awakened by the neighbors upstairs tromping back and forth across the floor, apparently getting ready to head out. I did not go back to sleep when they were done. We got up before 7, both done sleeping, had breakfast, showered and headed to an estate sale. Of course, we found a few things.
There were six sewing machines, maybe seven, and hundreds and hundreds of buttons, zippers, embroidery threads, and some pretty dressy fabric--I left it all.
We made arrangements with our friend Dottie (the one who originally hired us to work at the lighthouse in 2008) to meet for supper at CC Diner. It was great seeing her and catching up. I told her I would spare her taking a picture! But I did copy this one from the internet. Cute place.
