Too chilly for a walk first thing.Cary discovered this car in the parking lot--right hand drive, interesting arrangement of rear view mirrors and no "brand" name, just two symbols. My friend Pam Googled it; it is a Toyota Century. Later in the day Cary was able to talk to the owner. It is the Japanese version of a Rolls Royce! They are not sold in the U.S., owned mainly by "gazillionaires." (have to wonder about the owner's status...) He offered to give us a ride.
It eventually got warm enough for us to take another walk. Nothing like walking in the RV park, but I do plan to get in some beach walks while we are here.
The driftwood I mentioned yesterday
and the jetty seen from the beach
I also took some pictures to incorporate into my PowerPoint later. The outlets in the vacation rental don't always provide actual power...so I am going around trying to find places to plug in my phone, kindle and computer to make sure the batteries don't drain!
Our TV has zillions of channels, but nothing local or what we are used to seeing--like Jeopardy and the ABC news. Lots of news, but not the half hour shows. Good thing we have our books. And we are not here to watch TV.
