I thought I had the energy to do this tonight, but it will have to wait.
Good morning! We had a very busy day, starting with a walk in the harbor, watched some men cleaning fish--Pretty chilly--why we are here, among other reasons!
Pointing to our "home" for the next few weeks
I didn't think to take pictures, but we had to go check out Village Camper Inn, where we have spent so many happy times. Kathy was in the office, gave us big hugs and filled is in on lots of stuff. Then we drove around to see Roy, Charlotte and Janelle. A lot of the folks are not there any more, for one reason or another. There is still no cable TV, although they have been working on it. The cable company managed to break a sewer line while they were working!
Of course we had to go down to the beach to look at the lighthouse! Lots of driftwood, will probably collect some. Charlotte was talking about making mobiles with it...as if I need another project!
Another thing I forgot to do was ask Kathy about who in the park are the RVers. We intend to take some microwave bowls over for them to sell in the gift shop, and take more pictures for our PowerPoint presentation in the spring. I did tell her we would be back sometime during the month.
I did a load of a load of laundry--took awhile to figure out how the machines worked, but I did it!
I like to check the clothes periodically so they don't over dry and start to wrinkle; the dryer wouldn't stop spinning when I opened the door, so socks shot out left and right!
Meanwhile, at home, there was a big storm, so I contacted a neighbor to check out our place. He said we lost a palo verde, but all else looks okay.
