Eureka! Two Days Here

We are at the Shoreline RV Park in Eureka, finally cool. This place used to be called Ebb Tide when we started staying here many years ago, and there were some interesting characters staying here. It's a lot more normal now. We went to a quilt store and two thrift stores (books...) then out to eat at Sizzler.

Thursday morning we went downtown, didn't know about the Farmers' Market...meant to get a few veggies on the return trip to the truck, but Cary moved the truck and we didn't go back that way.
I wanted a cardboard cutting board (left mine at home, don't know why I took it out of the trailer), so we went to JoAnn's Fabrics. Twenty dollars was ridiculous, so now I will have to go to Plan B as soon as I figure out a Plan B! But I did get some batting for more microwave bowls and Cary got some foam for a seat cushion (back) for the truck. I will find some fabric to cover it, probably at Walmart or a thrift store.
Old Town Eureka has wonderful shops and architecture. After lunch (oh, and finding another thrift store where we could get a whole bag full of books for a buck), we wandered around until our backs hurt...only bought two more books and no more fabric, although the store here is really neat.

My favorite colors!

Time to go home and rest!
