Because we are parked under a large tree, a substantial amount of needles and sap have accumulated on the roof of the trailer. Cary is up there with broom, mop and bucket of cleaner.
Not that I would be much good should he slip and fall, but I did want to be outside the trailer at least while he is up there.
He thought it would take a couple of days (I knew better after all these years), but he will probably just have to go up to sweep off some needles before we leave next week. You would think the wind the last few days would take care of that!
I brought out my Kindle since I had successfully checked out some books from the Pima County Library, one of which is really interesting! I have to admit that I was pretty frustrated day before yesterday because the books were checked out, but not visible. And it is not like I even enjoy reading on the Kindle that much, but now it is the principle of the matter! The file extension of the books was different and somehow (I think by magic) I was able to download the proper file yesterday and I feel like a genius.
Later in the day I got back to something I actually know how to do--sew! This is about the sixth potholder I have assembled in the shape of a vintage trailer. I am at the point where I have ironed on the shapes, still need to satin stitch them on through the four layers, then wait till I get home because I didn't bring anything along to do the binding. Or...maybe I need to visit a fabric store...!
