No, nothing is wrong. Cary has to have a project to work on and this is it! Notice how the left side of the kitchen sink/cabinet is curved. Our other trailers have been flat-sided, with fold-up extensions that gave extra counter space (but moved out of the way when going down the road). Because I need extra space, Cary devised that copper counter top you see there, but I have to lift it up and set it aside when we travel, then lift it again when we arrive at our destination. Not to mention (although I never noticed), the curved piece takes up extra space in the trailer.
He went to Home Depot, Ace Hardware and True Value looking for the brackets that are needed for a shelf to fold down...had to order them.
He even had a use for this T square that I got at the yard sale with the draftsman's tools on Friday!
But he did get some plywood, cut it (thanks to a neighbor with the right kind of saw) and installed it. We brought in a TV tray to make do as an extension for now, because it could be over a week before we get what he needs from Home Depot (oh, you can see what he needs in the upper left corner--he put that fold-down shelf in for me last year, brackets found at a yard sale)!
I did some things too! It was an absolutely gorgeous day, so I sat outside and finished the potholder on the left (hand sewing required), went around and took pictures of tree bark, wrote out some postcards and held things when Cary needed me!
