Nothing Exciting

On Wednesday we had enough rain to keep us in for the day. Sewing, more work on the floor and faucet. Reading. By 8:00 we were able to get in a walk. The flowers are just gorgeous (I took these on Friday)!
The owner of these lovelies stays here all year.

 Isn't this Airstream nice?
Peggy owns this spot; I think she is only here part of the year. She is very creative.

Today we did get to an antique store where I found, of all things, lots of fabric! Also some tiny seashells for my friend, Andrea, and anyone else from the neighborhood group who might want them for decorating their sculpy creations from last month. Later I also managed to get a sweater for 50 cents that had the most interesting buttons which I clipped off for future use. The sweater goes to St. Vincent!

We also managed to get some groceries and I did some laundry. However, the quarters that I was sure I had put in the trailer were nowhere to be found. A few weeks ago at my mom's she and I were sorting coins to put in wrappers. I bought $20 worth of quarters from her and she gave me the rest. I put them in a metal canister...but today when I had the clothes sorted, ready to go down to the Laundromat--the canister had vanished! I called my son who is staying in our house to check for me, but tonight he had gone to his house, so the mystery remains!

Cary has scoped out the newspaper for yard sales, so we have our first plan for tomorrow ready to go!
