From Washington to Oregon

Seagulls hung around this pretty rest stop in Washington. I figured out why. A man was handing out free (donations suggested and given) coffee and doughnuts!

It has been just long enough that I don't remember where I took this!

Nice visitor center with lots of info on Oregon.

Looking toward the Columbia River after we crossed into Oregon.

The site of a military depot at Umatilla,  Cary tells me these objects in the distance that look like piles of hay are most likely ammunition dumps. More info here: http://www.cma.army.mil/umatilla.aspx

From the walkway at our campground in Boardman, Oregon--we have been biking and walking. It is still rather warm and also muggy. But beautiful. The place has really filled up since we got here at noon.
Cary needed a nap, so I went out walking again and shot this of our 5th wheel in the park.
After supper we took a second, longer bike ride--Cary
and here I am too!
